Abstract: Abstract Quality education is an important tool to achieve a better sustainable world. Good education system emphasizes on development of values, knowledge, understanding and skills that are essential to create a system that enables people to take decisions and initiatives, which would help to improve the quality of life. As much as it is desirable to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, it's imperative to ensure the education imparted is holistic and affordable. Keeping in mind the student's in-depth knowledge and attitudes they hold towards sustainable development; it is necessary for colleges and universities to adopt dynamic pedagogy. Students of this generation are looking for innovative methods to learn and are expecting teachers to adopt advanced teaching techniques and aids to teach. This paper is an assemblage of wealth of literature gathered from journals and articles published during the last decade on approaches, techniques and methods, best practices and suggestions that impact pedagogy in the higher education with special reference to commerce education.
