Effectiveness of Using Online Learning Media on Student Learning Motivation in Engineering Mechanics Subjects in Civil Engineering Study Program Buildings, Faculty of Engineering Universitas Negeri Makassar
This research is a survey of students' level of learning motivation using online media. The study involving 64 students who takes engineering mechanics courses in the even semester of 2023/2024 and as form of evaluation of the application of learning methods that combine online and offline systems. There are two variables studied, namely intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation. Variable analysis is based on assessing respondents' answers to several questions representing various indicators of both forms of motivation. The results of the analysis show that students' intrinsic motivation is at a low level, while extrinsic motivation shows a high category. The results of this analysis are supported by the low learning spirit of students, even though there appears to be an effort to complete assignments. These efforts are based solely on the desire to achieve grades that meet graduation standards
