Ernest Hemingway was an American journalist, short story writer and novelist. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1954. Some of his works were published posthumously since he died from suicide. He also won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 1953. His themes include nature, war, love and loss. This paper analyses some of his critically acclaimed works.
