| Abstract: | The study was conducted in order to understand the attitude of academic librarians towards digital transformation of academic libraries in Kebbi state. It was conducted in five higher institutions in the state, three research questions were adopted and a structured questionnaire was designed to answer the three research questions. The questionnaire was distributed using google form and the results were analysed and presented in quantitative nature as chats. Findings from the study of revealed that problems like lack of ICT facilities, adequate ICT personnel, lack of library automation and lack of adequate power supply are some of the problems consistent with the adoption of ICT facilities in academic libraries in institutions of higher learning in Kebbi state. Solutions like adequate training of personnel, adequate funding, and alternative source of power supply and purchase of adequate ICT facilities were recommended |
