Concrete is a very important element since it is utilized in building. The focus of this project work is on the utilization of cementitious materials such as, Ground Granulated Blast Furnace slag (GGBS) and Metakaolin, as a partial substitute for cement. This research aims to investigate the influence of binary cementitious material (BCM) on fresh and hardened concrete mixes prepared with metakaolin (MK) and ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBFS) as a partial replacement of cement. The combined replacement proportions of BCM is 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20% by weight of cement. The concrete grade is M30. To observe the behavior of GGBS and Metakaolin content in the concrete, cubes are tested to find the compressive strength for 7 and 28 days of curing and cylinders are tested to find split tensile strength test for 7 and 28 days of curing. Flexural strength is also found by testing on beams for 7 and 28 days of curing.
