Personality development is influenced by a variety of factors throughout life, including social, environmental, and professional aspects. Personality change within workers, over time, bears a lot of significance in respect of workplace adaptation, workplace engagement, and workplace performance. This study reveals personality changes involved within organizational contexts, especially with time considered critical in life events, at the time of developing a new job, and at retirement. A critical review of the literature extant indicates that personality is a development occurring in a gradual manner; it focuses on feedback, organizational culture, and factors relating to situation. Results derived from such emphases underline the necessity for developmental strategies fashioned to meet the needs of employees in regard to their various stages of career development. An organization that embraces personality fluidity and context-sensitive nature can evolve more practical policies and practices aimed at improving employee development and productivity.
