Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are crucial for the efficient functioning of Internet of Things (IoT) systems, particularly in applications like greenhouse agriculture. Ensuring Quality of Service (QoS) and extending network longevity are critical challenges. This survey paper compares three advanced routing algorithms: Enhanced Intelligent Water Drop Algorithm Optimized Routing (EIWDR), Cognitive Fish Swarm Optimization for Multi-Objective Routing (CFSO-MOR), and Efficacious Flower Pollination Algorithm-Routing Protocol (EFPA-RP). Each algorithm is evaluated based on its effectiveness in enhancing QoS and prolonging the network lifespan in IoT-based WSNs.
