The convergence of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) has transformed industries with
the introduction of machines that execute functions previously dependent on human intelligence. This paper deals with the coexistence of human intelligence and AI, in particular, how computation helps in decision making and human intuition clarifies uncertainty and ethical issues. It also provides an AI-based interactive learning system for Indian Sign Language (ISL) based on ML models such as convolutional neural networks (CNNs) to improve accessibility for the hearing-impaired. The research emphasizes human-AI cooperation to attain optimal workplace efficiency while focusing on issues like algorithmic bias as well as workers' realignment.
