This study examines the impact of the workplace environment on employee task performance, with employee commitment and achievement-striving ability acting as mediators. Data was collected from staff using a cross-sectional research design and a convenience sampling technique. A total of 950 questionnaires were distributed, and 275 valid responses were used for analysis. The data was assessed using Normality test. The results indicate that a positive workplace environment significantly improves employee performance, with both employee commitment and achievement-striving ability serving as mediators in this relationship. The study further reveals that employee commitment and achievement-striving ability both enhance employee performance. The study emphasizes how important a positive work environment is for boosting both commitment and performance among employees. It emphasizes the significance of a positive work environment to achieve increased levels of commitment and performance.
