| Abstract: | Women's safety has become a critical concern in today’s society, and technology can play a vital role in addressing this issue. This project proposes a smartphone-based women safety application that offers real-time location tracking and an instant emergency response system. The application is designed to be user-friendly and can be activated quickly during emergency situations. Upon activation, it sends an alert containing the user's live location and a pre-configured emergency message to selected contacts and nearby authorities. Additional features include an SOS button, audio/video recording during distress, route sharing, and a fake call option for diversion. The application ensures minimal user interaction, rapid response, and constant tracking to help victims receive immediate support. By integrating GPS, SMS, and mobile internet, the system aims to provide an effective safety net for women, enhancing their confidence and security in public and private spaces. |
