Abstract- Oil spills are major environmental disasters,
threatening marine life, coastal economies, and public
health. Rapid and precise detection is crucial for
minimizing their impact. This study examines cutting- edge
technique for oil spill identification: a machine learning
and deep learning-based image processing system using
drone-captured imagery. The paper explores data
collection, algorithmic approaches, and performance
evaluations. Findings indicate that merging these
techniques enhances detection reliability and facilitates
quicker emergency responses.
