The Online Crime File Management System is a comprehensive web application developed using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL, and PHP to streamline the management of crime related data and enhance collaboration between law enforcement agencies and citizens. The system features dedicated login portals for Administrators, Sub-Administrators (Police Personnel), and Users (Victims), ensuring role-specific access and functionality. The Administrator Dashboard allows for the addition and management of First Information Reports (FIRs), tracking of missing individuals, and maintenance of detailed records of "Most Wanted" criminals. Sub-Administrators, such as police officers, can manage witness details, update case statuses, and collaborate effectively through centralized data access. Victims can file complaints, track their case progress, and communicate securely with law enforcement. The
application prioritizes data confidentiality and security, restricting access to sensitive information
to authorized personnel only. By utilizing PHP for the backend and MySQL for database management,
the system ensures a robust, scalable, and secure platform. The integration of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript provides a user-friendly and responsive interface, making navigation intuitive and
efficient. The Online Crime File Management System aims to bridge the gap between citizens
and law enforcement agencies, promoting a community centric approach to crime prevention
and resolution. This project seeks to contribute significantly to improving public safety and the
overall effectiveness of the criminal justice system.
