This research examines how digital technology adoption is changing small and medium-sized businesses in India. Our study investigates the benefits, challenges, and outcomes of digital transformation across various SME sectors. Findings indicate that digitalization significantly improves operational efficiency, expands market reach, and enhances customer engagement for Indian SMEs. However, many businesses face obstacles including limited digital literacy, financing constraints, and infrastructure gaps. The research highlights successful adoption strategies and recommends policy interventions to support India's SME ecosystem through digital transition. This work contributes to understanding how developing economies can leverage digital tools to strengthen their SME sectors, which are crucial engines of economic growth and employment
