| Abstract: | Abstract-This SLRA provides a review on the engagement of households towards the Green Task Force in Kerala based on the socio-cultural, economic, and informational influences that shape their participation in environment-friendly waste management initiatives. It reviews progress made by the state of Kerala in community-driven waste management initiatives and other areas of sustainability work, identifies barriers in the full involvement of households-including awareness gaps and socio-demographic influences-as a challenge toward reaching diverse groups of households even when policies work well. The research concludes the need for effective communication strategies and specific interventions that increase household participation in support of the environmental sustainability objectives of Kerala. The study's findings will be of interest to policymakers, environmentalists, and community leaders seeking to strengthen the impact of the Green Task Force and contribute to wider environmental goals. |
