This study examines the impact of Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) practices on the performance of manufacturing firms in South-West Nigeria. Specifically, it investigates the effect of integrated environmental management on the average cost of operations and the influence of eco-design on customer patronage. A descriptive survey research design was adopted, utilising both primary and secondary data sources. Primary data were collected through structured questionnaires administered to workers and management staff across six selected manufacturing firms in the region, with a sample size of 452 respondents determined using Yamane Taro's formula. Secondary data were sourced from relevant literature, including journals, textbooks, and reports. Data analysis revealed that integrated environmental management significantly reduces the average cost of operations, while eco-design has a significant positive effect on customer patronage. The findings highlight the growing awareness and adoption of environmentally sustainable practices among manufacturing firms in Nigeria, underscoring their contribution to economic, social, and environmental sustainability in line with the triple-bottom-line approach. The study recommends that manufacturing firms fully integrate environmental management into their operational strategies and adopt eco-design principles to enhance competitiveness and long-term performance.
