Abstract: Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as one of the most transformative technologies of the twentyfirst century. Its integration into education, healthcare, business, transportation, and communication has significantly improved efficiency and accessibility. However, the growing dependence on AI systems has raised concerns regarding human autonomy, cognitive development, and social behavior. The phrase "AI: The Drug to Humans" metaphorically describes the increasing reliance on AI-driven technologies and the potential consequences of excessive usage. This paper investigates the similarities between AI dependency and behavioral addiction, analyzes its effects on individuals and society, and discusses strategies for responsible AI utilization. The study concludes that while AI serves as a powerful enabler of innovation, excessive dependence may negatively affect critical thinking, decision making abilities, and interpersonal relationships.
Keywords: Artificial Intelligence, Technology Dependency, AI Addiction, Human Behavior, Digital Society, Automation.
