Abstract: ABSTRACT Background: Nursing education requires diverse pedagogical approaches to prepare students for complex clinical environments. Understanding student perceptions of various teaching methods is essential for curriculum development and instructional improvement. Objective: To assess nursing students' perceptions of the effectiveness of lecture methods, demonstrations, simulation-based learning, problem-based learning (PBL), clinical teaching, and e-learning/blended learning. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted among 80 nursing students using a structured questionnaire with a 5-point Likert scale. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Results: The findings revealed that Demonstration and Return Demonstration had the highest perceived effectiveness score (Mean = 3.94 ± 0.56), followed by Problem-Based Learning (Mean = 3.90 ± 0.52) and Clinical Teaching (Mean = 3.89 ± 0.60). In contrast, the Lecture Method recorded the lowest mean score (Mean = 3.78 ± 0.51). Despite these variations, all teaching methods were rated favorably by the students, with mean scores approaching 4 on a 5-point Likert scale, indicating an overall positive perception of their effectiveness. Conclusion: The findings of the study revealed that nursing students had a generally positive perception of the effectiveness of all six teaching methods. Among these, Demonstration and Return Demonstration obtained the highest perception score, while the Lecture Method received the lowest score. Although variations in mean perception scores were observed, the Friedman test indicated that these differences were not statistically significant (χ² = 9.34, df = 5, p = 0.096). This suggests that students considered all six teaching methods to be comparably effective in supporting their learning. Therefore, the findings support the use of a blended approach that integrates multiple teaching methods to enhance the overall learning experience of nursing students.
