| Abstract: | भारत के स्वतंत्रता आन्दोलन में राजस्थान के शेखावाटी अंचल की महिलाओं की अहम् भूमिका रही। जिसमें उमा देवी अग्रवाल, जानकी देवी बजाज, अंजना देवी चौधरी, गीता देवी बजाज, सुमित्रा देवी खेतान, स्नेहलता गाडिया, गंगा देवी कानोड़िया, रमा देवी मुरारका, भगवानी देवी सेकसरिया, ज्ञानवती देवी लाठ, दुर्गावती देवी शर्मा, रामेश्वरी देवी शर्मा, उत्तमा देवी, विमला देवी शर्मा, म्होरी देवी पातुसरी आदि प्रमुख थी। महात्मा गाँधी, जमनालाल बजाज, मदनमोहन मालवीय, सुभाषचंद्र बोस की विचारधारा से प्रभावित थी। किसान आन्दोलन, प्रजामण्डल आन्दोलन, हरिजनोद्धार, खादी, शिक्षा तथा समाज सुधार आदि क्षेत्रों में योगदान रहा। इस प्रकार शेखावाटी के स्वतंत्रता आन्दोलन की पृष्ठभूमि में अहम् भूमिका रही। वर्तमान में भी जुझारू प्रवृत्ति के कारण देश की विभिन्न गतिविधियों में भाग लेती है। |
