Ethnopharmacology is a scientific approach to study the substance used medicinally, by different ethnic or cultural groups. Due to urbanization there is decrease in population of traditional herbalist. Hence there is a need to survey, document & conserve all the data related to herbs before it is being lost forever. This newer herbal therapies would lower the adverse and toxic effects of the drug and improves the quality of life.
