| Abstract: | The small scale industries today constitutes a very important segment of the Indian economy as they help in dispersal of industries, rural development, and the decentralization of economic power. They play an important role in employment creation, resource utilization and income generation and helps in a gradual and phased manner. Kanyakumari is a district where there are many micro, and small enterprises. Most of the employment in this region is generated through these units. It is therefore very vital that the SSI units in the district run profitably. |
