The IoT-based soil moisture sensor using Arduino Uno is a project that aims to address the challenges of efficient irrigation and water conservation in agriculture. This project utilizes the Internet of Things (IoT) technology and an Arduino Uno microcontroller to develop a low-cost and scalable solution for monitoring soil moisture levels in real-time. The system consist soil moisture sensors deployed in the field, which continuously measure the moisture content of the soil. These sensors are connected to the Arduino Uno board, which acts as the central hub for data collection and communication. On the cloud-based platform, the collected data is analyzed and visualized, providing farmers and stakeholders with valuable insights into the soil moisture conditions. This information enables informed decision-making regarding irrigation schedules and water management practices. Additionally, the platform can send alerts or notifications to farmers via mobile applications or email when moisture levels fall below or exceed a certain threshold.
