Abstract: The innovative IoT-based smart trolley presented in this concept is intended to completely transform mall shopping. The trolley provides a complete solution for effective product management and self-navigation by seamlessly integrating cutting-edge technologies. At the heart of the system is the ESP32 microcontroller, which coordinates multiple functions. An integrated RFID reader enables precise identification and tracking of items added or removed from the trolley. Thoughtfully positioned push buttons offer a user-friendly interface for selecting actions, while an LCD display and the Blynk IoT app provide real-time visibility of the cart's contents, empowering users to make informed decisions. In addition to product management, the smart trolley boasts advanced autonomous navigation capabilities. Infrared and ultrasonic sensors enable the trolley to maintain a safe and comfortable distance from users, dynamically adjusting speed and direction. Powered by a motor driver and DC motors, the trolley efficiently follows the user’s movements, ensuring smooth navigation. In conclusion, this project introduces a cutting-edge smart trolley that simplifies product management and enhances the overall shopping experience. Its blend of state-of-the-art technology and intuitive design makes it a valuable asset for shopping centers seeking innovative solutions.
