In every organization, employees are more than just a workforce — they are its driving force. Yet, high employee turnover continues to challenge organizations across industries. This study explores the key reasons employees leave their jobs and the strategies organizations can implement to retain them. Drawing on real employee insights, the research highlights factors such as job dissatisfaction, poor leadership, lack of growth, and workplace culture as major contributors to turnover. At the same time, it identifies meaningful recognition, career development, open communication, and empathetic leadership as strong retention tools. The study calls for organizations to humanize their approach — to see their employees not just as resources, but as individuals with evolving needs and aspirations.
