Abstract: The objective of this research is to assist medical professionals by providing an efficient and reliable tool for the early detection of brain tumors using MRI images. The proposed system utilizes image preprocessing techniques and a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model to classify MRI scans into tumor and non-tumor categories. The methodology involves dataset preprocessing, model training, optimization, and validation using standard evaluation metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. A web-based interface developed using Streamlit enables real-time image analysis and ease of use for non-expert users. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed CNN-based approach achieves high accuracy and reliable performance on unseen MRI images. The system is designed to support medical practitioners by providing a fast and accurate second opinion, thereby enhancing diagnostic efficiency.
