Abstract: Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming modern healthcare by improving patient care, diagnosis accuracy, and hospital efficiency. Traditional healthcare systems often face challenges in understanding patient needs and managing chronic diseases effectively. AI technologies help overcome these limitations by analyzing large amounts of medical data and identifying meaningful patterns. This study highlights the role of AI in healthcare, especially in chronic disease management and understanding patient preferences. Techniques such as machine learning, deep learning, neural networks, and natural language processing enable early disease detection, personalized treatment, and real-time patient monitoring. AI is widely used in areas such as heart disease prediction, cancer detection, and diabetes management. In India, AI adoption is increasing in hospitals, telemedicine, and healthcare services, improving accessibility and quality of care, particularly in rural areas. However, challenges such as data privacy, ethical concerns, and data quality remain significant. Overall, AI has a positive impact on healthcare systems and offers strong potential for future improvements in patient-centered care and medical decision-making.
